Hank Ballard R.I.P - saddened to hear of the death of the legendary funk singer. Hank produced some amazing music with his band the Highlighters on James Brown's King label. His lyrics were filled with raunchy double-entendres that left little to the imagination, pushing the boundaries of what was considered acceptable in the '50s and as a result most were banned on the radio.
